The fans of Avril Lavigne would be very disappointed to know the cancellation of her the tour scheduled in San Diego and Phoenix. The Canadian pop singer is suffering form the flu and she is not able to sing because of Laryngitis - an inflammation of the larynx (voice box) caused by a virus. Probably, non-stop touring has taken a toll on her health and made her sick. The singer apologised and wrote a message for her fans in her blog,

I have been sick this whole tour, and now I have lost my voice. I have never canceled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux! I have had the flu 3 times and I never get sick, it just keeps going around. I think I am just run down.

The Grammy award-nominated singer is very determined towards her shows and her singing career. After a few shows in Texas, she caught infection in her throat. And with all most no voice, she performed on stage in Vegas. But due to acute Laryngitis, she will not able to sing for few days. She needs rest. I hope, she will recover soon.
