At the end of a month long tour in Ireland, British singer James Blunt has expressed his desire to retire there. In an interview on Dublin radio station FM104 he expressed his willingness to retire in Ireland since, “Irish people have music in their blood.”

This desire of his apparently stems from the fact that his very first tour was in Ireland. He revealed this in the interview and told that he toured Ireland with only one keyboard player fiver years back. He said:

The reason we did it was because Ireland is a place that enjoys music. It was a very exciting time for me.

Blunt, 33, has some way to go before retiring and before that he is off to US for another round of performances. The You’re Beautiful star is the first Brit to top Billboard chart after Sir Elton John and with his credentials, Grammy nominations and what not.
